She was born on November 21, 1943 to William and Adaline Martineau in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. She fell in early January breaking her hip and passed away peacefully with family at her side on February 10, 2024 in Seattle, WA. She is preceded in death by her daughter Traci Lynne Canfield in 2004. Lorraine graduated from Tenino High School in 1963 and married Dennis L. Canfield on June 2, 1964 in Tumwater, WA. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Dennis Canfield. They have traveled throughout the United States and have resided in Montana, Florida, and made their permanent home in Washington state. She is survived by her children Deanna Collins, George West(Monica), Kacee Anderson(Craig), seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild who she was able to meet before her death. Additionally, she is survived by her brother Maurice Martineau and sister Marguerite Fletcher who still reside in Canada. Lorraine was better known as Nana to most of us. She had a love for children and has had a hand in raising over 40 children in the local area. She loved her family, enjoyed camping, the outdoors and jewelry. Her viewing will be held at Newell-Hoerling's Mortuary, 205 W Pine St, Centralia, WA on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 from 2-3 pm
